Glucose meter recalled due to incorrect unit of measure
The TRUE METRIX AIR Blood Glucose Meter displayed glucose results in mmol/L rather than mg/dL.
One glucose meter was recalled due to having an incorrect factory-set unit of measure, the FDA announced on April 21.
The TRUE METRIX AIR Blood Glucose Meter by Trividia Health Inc. displayed glucose results in mmol/L rather than mg/dL and was distributed in the U.S. in February 2019 to one customer, AssuraMed. The meter was not packaged into store-brand or retail-branded packaging. There have been no related reports of patient injuries or adverse events.
